TERRY BRITTLIFFE | Principal Process Engineer -  Beneficiation

Terry Brittliffe is a Principal Process Engineer with over 40 years experience in metallurgical and operational management across multiple commodities. Terry’s key area of speciality is in the correlation of resource lithology to testwork programs and beneficiation plant design. Terry has successfully brought numerous projects from study into production over his career.

Terry has help many positions over his career across technical, operations and managerial,

including key senior roles in numerous ASX listed exploration and mining companies.


In the Vanadium market, Terry has consulted to and completed due project reviews of various potential ferro-vanadium projects internationally, as well as overseen laboratory testwork programs as part of these processes.


Technical and operational experience includes:

  • Heap leach, CIP feasibility, process design and optimisation, plant manager for various gold projects throughout Australia.

  • Management of multiple testwork programs on various commodities working directly for Nagrom laboratories.

  • Operations manager for multiple Mineral Sands operations in Victoria and Western Australia.

  • Consultant completing project review for proposed company float/corporate funding activities (gold, magnetite, manganese, tantalite, graphite).

  • Study, detailed design oversight (owner’s team), commissioning and ramp up of Mt Cattlin Lithium Project.


Terry is the Principal Process Engineer for the design for the design of the Beneficiation circuit for the St Elmo Vanadium Project, and the key link between the resource, mine plan and processing plant.
